AIDORU - Stunning Jewellery!!!

One of my fave jewellers - Jaraloy Swords - has this excellent shop where everything from sexy piercings to elegant jewellery pieces are available and all at a very reasonable price. I'm so happy to have AIDORU as one of the sponsors of the Death Becomes Her Hunt and wanted you all to see what fab stuff is on offer there! Some Details and Dates for Vendors

Just to clarify a couple of things for you all:

1. Deadline for vendor applications is 15th November 2009.

2. I shall publish the list in order that they will appear in the hunt by 30th November 2009. Please note that this list (with the exception of the sponsors) will be entirely random - I will not base position on any formulae for traffic or anything else. Everyone will be placed in their position in the list as a matter of random selection. Morbid Mausoleum will be first and last in the list - there will be an additional prize for those that finish the hunt hidden in my store! The masks will be sent out soon after the list is published.

3. Deadline for signs to be visible at shop entrances is Sunday 20th December 2009. If your sign is not rezzed at your location by this date you will be removed from the vendors list. Apologies if it seems harsh, but I am organising this hunt by myself, and want to make sure that everything is organised well before the start date to prevent holes in the hunt for the hunters.

4. I shall be requiring the following information from you in a notecard entitled DBHH (your store name and the word HINT) by 20th December 2009. If I do not receive this by this date - you will be removed from the list - so perhaps make sure you get this to me in plenty of time:

• Hint (the mask doesn't have to be out yet, but I will need a hint to get the hint list on the blog ready for hunters in plenty of time.
• I also need you to tell me exactly where you intend on hiding your mask - so that I can check that these are in place nearer to the hunt.

5. I shall be doing a walk through of the hunt on 30th & 31st December. Therefore I need the masks to be in place and for sale no later than midnight on 29th December 2009. If your mask is not out when I do my walkthough I shall remove you from the list to ensure a smooth hunt for our hunters.

I want to make sure that this hunt is well organised and enjoyable for everyone, therefore please, please get everything to me in plenty of time so that I can get the hint list and the final list of vendors in order published for our hunters!

Please note that I am publishing this list in alphabetical order so that those of you that have applied are assured that you are on the list. However, I shall randomise the locations nearer the time so this won't necessarily be the order in which the hunt takes place. The final list in the correct order will be published in December. The Hunt Item - a Death Mask!!!!!

Ok well I bet you were all wondering just what you might end up searching for! Something macabre definitely! Well here is a picture of the beloved Death Mask that you need to find!

Applications for Sponsors and Shop-owners now being taken

The Death Becomes Her Hunt is specially with the dark and macabre in mind, especially for the pretty women! How do you portray dark and disturbing whilst maintaining beauty? Perhaps the macabre is beautiful in itself! As many goths have discovered! But how you choose to portray this is up to you. I only ask that the prize be of good original quality, not recycled stock and that there be an item for a man as well as a woman - because men are beautiful too!

Below are details of how to participate in the hunt either as a sponsor or an individual store.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS 15TH NOVEMBER 2009.

SPONSORSHIP
There is only space for 5 sponsors of this hunt - the privileges of sponsorship ensure that you will be one of the first 5 stores listed in the hunt and that your store name will be added to the final poster that will be sent out prior to the hunt commencing. You will also be able to provide some pictures and writing for inclusion on the blog! To apply to be a sponsor, please send a note card named "DBHH Sponsorship - Your store name" to Morbid Emor in world stating the following:

1. Your store name
2. Type of merchandise sold
3. LM
4. SLURL
5. Contact name

Sponsors will be accepted on a first come first served basis, subject to my inspection of the store in question. Due to the very nature of sponsorship, there is a fee for this, however, it is not huge and I feel that the exposure that your shop will receive means it is value for money. Unfortunately I cannot accept resellers as sponsors as I want this hunt to represent the designers behind the shop name as much as the macabre concept. Thank you for your understanding.

VENDORS
If you wish to be included in the hunt, I will need to visit your store prior to acceptance. Please send me a note card entitled "DBHH - Your Store Name" with the following:

1. Name of Store
2. Contact Name
3. Landmark
4. SLURL
5. Type of merchandise sold
6. Idea for prize whether it will be 1 male/1 female or unisex

I will visit all stores prior to letting you know if you have been accepted into the hunt. I shall send you acceptance along with a poster to be displayed at your store and a group invite to the DBHH group.

HELP WANTED
Nearer the time I will be asking for 5 volunteers to help giving hints to the hunters. Although this shouldn't be too taxing as I shall require all participating stores to provide me with a hint prior to the start of the hunt so that I can list them on the blog here. So if you fancy helping out (and it can be a lot of fun meeting and helping new people) let me know by 1st December.
